Striptember 2016 at BodySmith!

In gym by Rachel Smith

Striptember is about stripping away the belief that all you have to offer the world is based on your appearance, stripping away the self-criticism that you aren’t good enough (no matter where you are in your journey) and stripping away a layer of clothing that you have been hiding behind!  images   For some that’s sleeves, others would never wear shorts, and others wouldn’t be seen dead in a bikini – no matter how great they look to us!

We’re trying to create a movement of people that are prepared to step out of their comfort zone and allow themselves to be seen as they are – and STOP the self criticism!

It breaks my heart to see so many people who have such low confidence and self esteem, even those who have come a long way and look amazing!  Lots of people with low self esteem would think that gym-goers are all confident people, but it’s incredible the number of people who attend and still feel uncomfortable with themselves. To hell with unreasonable fear and expectations, just love yourself as you are and at the point of the journey you’re at!

comfortWe’re planning some Facebook live video and wanting to take some pictures this month of people OUT of their comfort zone, and we would LOVE you to be involved.  We even have a limited number of girls’ bling to give away to any girls that are prepared to get in on the action – but that doesn’t exclude you guys either! (if you really want the bling, go right ahead!)

So, come to training with a sports bra or a pair of short shorts, or a tank top or whatever makes you feel uncomfortable, and get involved with us! With Summer just around the corner, wouldn’t it be nice to feel comfortable wearing whatever makes you happy at the beach?

So if you need to get out of your comfort zone (and there’s not too many people who don’t!), come in to BodySmith Fitness and find out how we can help you!
